Unit is very easy to use and works as advertised. Humidification in home greatly enhanced.

I am very pleased with the unit's performance, as it has vastly improved the comfort of my home's air environment. I was far less impressed, however, with the unit's operating manual. It was crudely written and many of its comments did not align with the parts diagram, leaving the reader to deduce what the writer was trying to explain. I did receive a response from the manufacturer's customer service group, but the reply only led to additional questions.
So far so good

I've been using this humidifier for a month now. I purchased it because my house becomes quite dry in the winter months. We have hard water so I need something that will hold up to that. I bought a pack of those drop in filter things. That seems to help, I believe. I'm extremely thankful for the child lock button on this. The only issue I've had so far is having to look up problem codes which have only been different ways of telling me it's empty. It has an icon that's pretty obvious that means fill. More often though, it flashes 01 or 02 which are error codes but have been resolved by filling it. So far, so good. I'll consider it money well spent if I get a couple winters out of it considering my tap water.
It works!!!! Primarily for one room, however.

Initially, I had a bit of a hard time figuring out the instructions in the manual. It did not seem to work well. I asked a question of the company, however, and "got my act together" .... It sets up easily, and works great now.
In order to not have to worry about water scale inside, I opted to use distilled water... which became expensive. Then, my Culligan Water provider informed me that I could use the water from my kitchen R/O filtered water. That ended problem, and no extra cost at all.
I run it at 35-40% humidity setting, in a good-sized open living room. That is, there's an open stairwell on one side, an open entryway at one end, AND I have 9 foot ceilings in that room. In Spite of that, I learned I needed to place the humidifier on a sturdy table, about 3' up from the carpet, and out a few feet from my one living room corner, (just to avoid steam hitting furniture near that corner). It runs very well, and I have really noticed the difference in it almost eliminating a dry winter cough that I have every winter.
Highly recommend this..... and the service/interaction with the company was wonderful.
I did take out the 3 yr warranty.
So far so good

If you don't have a strong grip, you want a top filling unit like this one. The bottom loading units usually require opening and closing a filler cap with a gasket. If you cannot tighten the cap, the unit can leak. However, if you do that, you might not be able to open the cap next time. With a bottom filling unit, you take the tank to the water source and bring the filled tank back to the unit. With a top filling unit, you bring water to the unit. It is much easier to keep a top fillling unit filled.

I have a black unit and a white unit. The light-colored ink used for the front panel of the white unit makes it difficult to read over the white background. The black unit does not have this problem.

A nice little humidifier. Pumps out quite a bit of vapor. Will raise humidity from 20% to 40% in a fairly large room in about an hour or so.

what i like about it, is the large letters, and it works great. what i dont like about it is, , you have to set the humility 5 percent higher then normal. i had it set at 50% and it would not get to 50% to cut off, it cut off at 45%, (BUT) if i set it at 55% it would cut off at 50%, i have no problem with that, other then that tiny problem, it works just great, will i order one for my living room? yes, the one i have now is in my bed room. if the humility was working right, i would give 5 stars, that is not a problem.
