I've had this humidifier for almost two weeks now and I really am enjoying it. After comparing it to a couple of the more promoted humidifers, I ended up choosing this one primarily because I felt the black/white screen would be more subtle when the unit was in use. I bought it for my living room to assist with keeping the humidity up for some of my tropical plants. I have a hygrometer that I use to monitor the humidity and they to match MOST of the time. My hygrometer fluctuates more the further it is from the humidifier and when it's running. But even when 4 ft away, when the humidifer isn't running due to reaching the set level of humidity, that's when they match the most.
I love the two 360° nozzles that direct the mist flow. One is narrow and one is wide, you can have them pointing in the same direction or opposite of each other. The top is almost too easy to remove. I love the large capacity tank and being able to add water from the top. I do wish that the tank had a larger opening and a handle to carry it by for taking to the sink. The tank tends to have droplets of water falling when carrying. Even though it comes with a small brush for cleaning and the opening is large enough to fit your hand into, I can tell there will be a few areas you won't be able to reach.
The buttons on the front panel of the unit are touch sensitive and very responsive. If viewed at an angle, you almost can't see them because the silver shifts to almost white blending into the front. It has three levels of mist intensity and also three levels of heating. You can set your level of humidity from 30-90% in 5% increments. Once set, the machine will automatically run to keep within 5% of the set level. It turns off when the set level is reached and once it drops more than 5%, the machine turns back on and runs to get back to the set level. You can manually choose the level of mist intensity and heating you want to use. If you use the auto feature, I believe the machine constantly runs to keep the desired level. It also automatically adjusts the heating intensity and mist intensity to maintain the chosen humidity level. I keep mine between 55-65% without using the auto feature.
I love that the remote is simple and easy to use. Some of the other features I don't use much, but it's nice they're there, like sleep which just turns of the screen but the machine still runs. It can be woken back up with the remote. It has a timer feature when you can choose anywhere from 1-12 hours that you want it to run and then it shuts off. There's a child lock button that disables the buttons on the front panel which is nice if you have kids that like to touch things. I don't intend to use the essential oil tray since I have a small diffuser for that purpose. Noise wise, it's not very loud at all. You will hear bubbling when it's running but it's nowhere near annoying. I wish the water tank was clear but it's nice that the machine will cut off and display a water droplet in the bottom corner alerting you that the tank is empty and needs more water.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the purchase and would greatly recommend it for it's features, overall modern look and simplicity of use.
