So nice to wake up without being totally dry mouthed and nosed. I really am liking this humidifier. Easy to use. Just have to fill the water morning and night. Worth it!

YEARS!! YEARS I have had multiple humidifiers running. I can't believe it; I actually had to turn this one DOWN. Utterly insane! I LOVE this machine; grab a measuring cup, fill-her up, and about once a week, I give it a decent scrub. The plastic bit at the bottom gets the hard water built up on it, but I actually like it. The piece is easily removed, and I can clean it super easily in the sink. I bought a floating hard water filter thingy. I will see if it works, but not really concerned it's easy to clean, and I haven't seen much white powder on my windows. I still can't believe we only need one humidifier. This thing really pumps out the water.

We had another humidifier for less than a year and it was a pain to clean, then it began "buzzing" loudly. Company couldn't replace it as we learned it was "discontinued" despite still being advertised! So, we found the Elechomes humidifier, purchased it and we LOVE it. It is amazing, love that we can adjust the humidity levels for the warm and cool mist choices and it is soooo quiet!

I used to use the Vicks humidifier, but got annoyed of having to take the water reservoir out to refill it, then flip the heavy thing back over to fit in its space. Plus it wasn't very aesthetically pleasing.
This humidifier was a splurge compared to the Vicks one, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE it so far (I've had this for a few weeks now). I love that I can adjust the humidity level, steam temperature (there are too many humidifiers out there that only do hot or cold, but not both), has a night mode (all of the lights turn off but the machine keeps working), is a top-fill (I just buy distilled water & empty the whole gallon in there once the water tank is very low), and can diffuse essential oils. For reference, I only use the machine in my bedroom at night/when I'm sleeping (8-12 hours), and I have to refill the water tank maybe every 3 days or so. This thing is awesome!!!

My girlfriend is more of an expert on these things and she agrees that it appears to be a really good humidifier.

I am finding it really does the job in the lower half of a 1200sq feet condo ( so it comfortable covers about 500SQ FEET - we place it in a corridor with the TOP ANGLE HOLES one facing to the bedroom and the other facing to the lounge.

I like that you can see the steam smoothly coming out the top like a chimney - this shows it is doing something.

I am more familiar with the buttons on it now .. although I have NOT used the HEAT part of it, I do use the POWER on/off (gentle tap and it is on, not a tricky or horrible touch button that never responds like on a lot of junk I have seen in the USA ) ...... I then tap the humidity percentage and tend to use 60% and 65% a lot, as NEW ENGLAND in this place I live starts around 28% and 33% I am seeing when I first power on this unit .... then i hit the TIMER to a number between 4 and 6 hours on the nights I use this device.

So I can safely say, it does everything I want ... if I use it 3 times, for about 5 hours on average, the tank is empty, I remove the thin plastic top, there is a generously sized compartment on the left, I fill my Kettle (as it is a nice electric kettle so I can use it like a JUG ) :) ... 2,5 times and that fills the tank :) SO this is a nice "easy to use" unit and "user friendly design" both with the technical side of it and the "put more water in" it side :)

I have USED THIS for ONE MONTH only so far, if it is still working in 11 months / Christmas 2021 ... we will be buying another when they are on sale again ..... we do tend to put sensible "budgets" on electronics.
5th one is the charm !

yes embarrassed to say that had amazon stop at my house with 4 humidifiers that i then returned -- even tried the Elechomes humidifier 8820 model /quirks ------- This model is the one !! Aside from being attracted to the German roots it is well made -- top fill/ controls are easy to read and it SHUTS off with the on/off switch ! its a bit more sophisticated then the 4 other models i had returned -a bit more pricey but i believe in quality so therefore you have to pay a bit more -- ALSO a bonus their customer service is excellent and in saying that i had a slight issue installing battery in remote - they responded immediately - i gave the cleaning part 5 stars and i have yet to do this but distilled water is the way to go -
