My husband and I are selling our home and going full on tiny home and I am getting rid of larger kitchen items and replacing them with smaller versions or items that replace several gadgets with just one. This immersion blender does the latter. I was skeptical that one tool could do so much but this doesn't disappoint. The immersion blender blends sauses, gravy, salad dressing and smoothies as well as blending up a perfect piña colada or margarita and a milkshake. Big blender is outa here. The wusk attachment is grrat for eggs, and pancake batter and anything you need to wisk. Gravy is a good use for it as well, but the chopper was my big test, as I am pretty fond of my mini food processor. I wasn't sure that the chopper would be able to handle the stress I put my processor under. I am a vegetarian and chop veggies and fruit daily and this chopper really impressed me. I tried chopping meat for my husband, who is not a vegetarian, because the booklet said it would chop meat and it did. Nice course ground beef for tacos. This will work well to make chicken salad. This did everything I needed it to do so the food processor is outa here as well. The blender has a regular speed and a turbo boost. Plugs into any standard outlet and tucks away in a drawer. I hand wash mine. I think handwashing is best for things with hard plastic pieces. You do you. The book says all except the immersion blender can be put in dishwasher. I can't think of any cons at the moment. It's a very nice blender.
