  • Step 1

Dissolve yeast in a bowl, add water. Take a bigger bowl and add flour, sugar, and baking powder. Stir in the dry ingredients until combined. Whisk in the yeast mixture, milk, butter, egg yolk, vanilla until smooth.

  • Step 2

In a medium bowl beat eggs until it is able to stand up firmly. Add into the batter and let it sit for 20 minutes.


  • Step 3

Heat and grease the waffle maker. Pour the batter and cook until waffles are golden. Flip the waffle iron back over and enjoy it with maple syrup, Belgian Chocolate-Fudge Sauce, or toppings of your choice.
